About the Role
As a Software Engineer I (Analyst – FSD), you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software applications that support Deloitte’s business solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to build high-quality applications using modern technologies, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.
This role provides hands-on experience in full-stack development, cloud computing, API development, automation, and application support while collaborating with experienced engineers and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Technical Program Managers and business teams to understand and document business requirements.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, C#/.NET, SQL, and modern web technologies.
- Build web applications, REST APIs, desktop applications, and automation tools.
- Develop responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Create prototypes and proof-of-concept applications for new business solutions.
- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Perform unit testing, debugging, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
- Support DevOps activities including deployments, monitoring, and automation scripting.
- Participate in technical discussions, daily stand-ups, and project meetings.
- Keep project leads informed about progress, risks, and deliverables.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives such as hackathons and technical research projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in web or application development (Freshers with relevant skills may also apply).
- Knowledge of:
- Python
- C#/.NET
- SQL Server
- JavaScript
- HTML
- CSS
- Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask or Django.
- Understanding of full-stack application architecture.
- Experience building web applications, APIs, and desktop applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including:
- Microsoft Azure
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience using:
- Visual Studio
- Azure DevOps
- Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following skills will have an added advantage:
- Experience with Azure deployment pipelines.
- Exposure to Data Science projects.
- Experience creating prototypes and proof-of-concept applications.
- Knowledge of unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio.
- Experience working in Agile or structured software development environments.
