About the Role
Avanto is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Processing Associate to join its Accounting Processing team. The selected candidate will manage Purchase Order (PO) and Non-PO invoice processing, resolve invoice exceptions, support accounts receivable activities, and ensure accurate financial transaction processing while maintaining high-quality standards.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with financial data, accounting processes, and ERP systems in a fast-paced remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Processing Associate at Avanto, you will:
- Review and validate customer and vendor invoices before processing.
- Process both PO and Non-PO invoices accurately in the client’s ERP system.
- Maintain 100% accuracy while following company policies and compliance standards.
- Resolve invoice exceptions such as pricing differences, quantity mismatches, missing purchase orders, duplicate invoices, and receiving issues.
- Handle Non-PO invoice approvals and ensure proper general ledger coding and cost center allocation.
- Perform Accounts Receivable cash application for incoming payments.
- Work with internal teams to achieve daily processing targets.
- Prepare and maintain quality control (QC) reports.
- Keep accurate records of processed transactions, issues, and resolutions.
- Support supervisors and team leads in resolving operational issues and improving processes.
- Complete assigned tasks within service-level agreement (SLA) timelines.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess:
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
- Understanding of PO and Non-PO invoice processing.
- Familiarity with invoice exception handling.
- Experience with ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing business requirements.
Experience Required
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) or Accounts Receivable (AR) will also be considered.
