Job Description
State Street is hiring Transaction Processing Associate 2 professionals to support its Transaction Services Group in Chennai. The selected candidates will work closely with custody clients to manage trade and cash transactions, ensuring timely settlements and exceptional client service.
The role involves monitoring daily transactions, resolving exceptions, handling client queries, and maintaining compliance with company policies and operational procedures. Candidates with strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills will be well-suited for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and settle client trade and cash transactions accurately and within deadlines.
- Review transaction reports and ensure all client deliverables are completed on time.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify operational issues and escalate them to management when required.
- Investigate and resolve transaction exceptions efficiently.
- Respond to client inquiries with timely and accurate information.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior management whenever necessary.
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance guidelines.
- Stay updated with internal processes and industry developments.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or a related discipline.
- Graduate, Engineering, or Post Graduate qualification.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- Strong knowledge of financial operations is preferred.
Required Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
