Roles & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Supporting valuation advisory assignments for alternative assets.
- Developing technical expertise in complex financial instrument valuation.
- Reviewing investment memoranda, structured investment documents, and client financial models.
- Assisting with client meetings and preparing information request lists.
- Building and maintaining discounted cash flow (DCF), market multiple, market transaction, and option pricing valuation models.
- Performing valuation analysis across multiple industries and geographies.
- Analyzing financial statements and preparing statistical summaries and financial ratios.
- Preparing reports and presentations for internal teams and clients.
- Assisting in building strong client relationships.
- Participating in industry events to enhance knowledge of alternative investments.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess one of the following:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- CFA or equivalent professional qualification
- MBA
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
Preferred Skills
Candidates should have:
- 0–1 year of experience in financial valuation or financial modeling.
- Experience with enterprise valuation using DCF and market-based approaches.
- Knowledge of structured securities such as CLOs, CMBS, RMBS, and ABS is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of financial statement analysis and valuation methodologies.
- Familiarity with accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Python, VBA, and Power BI is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.
