About the Role
As an Executive – IT Auditor, you will be part of Cognizant’s Global Internal Audit team, supporting IT and Cybersecurity audit engagements across various business functions. You will collaborate with experienced audit professionals, assist in risk assessments, evaluate internal controls, and contribute to strengthening the organization’s technology and security processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Engagement Manager in planning audit activities and preparing testing procedures.
- Support IT and Cybersecurity audit engagements while ensuring compliance with Cognizant’s audit methodology.
- Understand IT systems, business processes, and internal controls.
- Perform cyber risk assessments and evaluate security controls.
- Prepare and maintain detailed audit documentation and work papers.
- Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and recommend practical improvements.
- Support the follow-up of Management Action Plans (MAPs) and remediation activities.
- Communicate audit observations effectively with stakeholders.
- Build professional relationships across teams and ensure timely project delivery.
- Participate in continuous learning through training programs, certifications, and professional development initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess:
- Graduate, Engineering, or Post Graduate qualification.
- 1–4 years of experience in IT Audit or Cybersecurity Audit.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical discipline is preferred.
- Prior experience with a Big 4 firm or Internal Audit function will be an added advantage.

- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
Experience with IT audit tools and leadership capabilities will also be beneficial.
