About the Role
As an Analyst – Program & Project Management, you will be part of Verizon’s Vendor Management Center, where you will help improve vendor performance and ensure efficient network deployment, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, project management, and field operations teams to monitor project progress, analyze performance metrics, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with Verizon’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage vendor workloads and monitor project backlogs.
- Develop action plans with vendors to improve project completion timelines.
- Create and maintain vendor performance scorecards at market, regional, and national levels.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Conduct audits to ensure completed work complies with Verizon specifications and local regulations.
- Verify vendor invoices for accuracy and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Coordinate project schedules and monitor risk mitigation activities.
- Support team members by sharing guidance and project updates.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Google Suite, especially spreadsheets and reporting tools.
- Hands-on experience with Smartsheets, including dashboard creation.
Preferred Skills
Candidates with the following skills will have an added advantage:
- Knowledge of Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) and networking concepts.
- Ability to analyze operational data and recommend process improvements.
- Strong project management, scheduling, tracking, and reporting skills.
- Experience working with Verizon reporting tools.
- Understanding of telecom equipment, systems, and operational processes.
