About the Role
As an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer at Barclays, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining modern infrastructure platforms that support the bank’s strategic applications and digital transformation initiatives.
You will work with cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring solutions to build scalable, secure, and highly available systems while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reliable infrastructure platforms.
- Develop and manage automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and other cloud technologies.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and testing processes.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and quickly resolve incidents.
- Implement security best practices to protect infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams for seamless software delivery.
- Improve deployment efficiency through automation and process optimization.
- Support production and non-production environments.
- Perform infrastructure upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.
- Plan and execute infrastructure changes and release deployments.

Infrastructure & DevOps Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

- Supporting observability platforms such as AppDynamics and ELK.
- Managing infrastructure networking, routing, and firewall configurations.
